Its outlet design is flexible, with options of 6 to 35 pipes based on actual needs. The pipe diameters are available in three specifications: 15, 20, and 25 mm, and each specification supports two connection methods: flange and threaded joint, providing great convenience for users.
          However, the inclined-angle type is just one member of the pulverized coal distributor family. The PFPQ bottle-type pulverized coal distributor and the PSFPQ disc-type pulverized coal distributor also play indispensable roles in the blast furnace PCI system. Although these two distributors have distinct design details, their common goal is to ensure stable and even delivery of pulverized coal to all tuyeres of the blast furnace.

        When delving into the structural features of pulverized coal distributors, we must mention the emergence of a new type of conical distributor. This distributor not only inherits the advantages of various previous types of distributors but also integrates advanced foreign technical concepts, making it a standout in the blast furnace PCI system. The conical distributor abandons the drawback of horizontal distribution of branch pipes in traditional bottle-type and disc-type distributors, instead adopting a design where branch pipes are evenly distributed above the main body. Specifically, the branch pipes of the conical distributor are arranged in an inclined-angle pattern (90 degrees or 120 degrees). This innovative design greatly improves the distribution accuracy and stability of pulverized coal.
        The main body of the new pulverized coal distributor adopts a conical inner cavity design. The total outlet area of all branch pipes is close to the area of the inlet channel. This design allows the gas-solid flow entering the inner cavity to form a strong vortex, which evenly wraps the pulverized coal and distributes it to each branch pipe. During this process, the pulsation of pulverized coal conveying is small, and the injection is stable and reliable, ensuring users obtain the ideal flow rate. At the same time, since there is no throat structure inside the distributor, the resistance loss is greatly reduced, avoiding problems such as throat blockage and the decline in distribution accuracy caused by uneven throat wear.

        It is worth mentioning that the new pulverized coal distributor is made of carbon steel parts and undergoes precision machining, ensuring high geometric accuracy and thus the durability and reliability of the equipment. Its conical inner cavity structure is simple, with small volume and light weight, making the inspection and maintenance of the equipment much easier. In addition, this distributor is suitable for pulverized coal conveying systems under various gas-solid ratios in blast furnace PCI systems, and can be used for both dilute-phase conveying and dense-phase conveying, demonstrating its wide applicability.
        In the blast furnace PCI system, there are many types of pulverized coal distributors. By appearance, they can be divided into bottle type, spherical type, disc type, conical type (inclined-angle type), curved branch pipe type, etc. By branch pipe material, they can be divided into wear-resistant alloy type, wear-resistant ceramic type, and other types. With the continuous advancement of ironmaking technology and the gradual increase of the PCI ratio of blast furnaces, the working capacity of pulverized coal distributors is facing unprecedented challenges.
